Sonh Print Service Terms
Governs digital file uploads, automated cloud spooling, laser printing, and binding. Customers warrant lawful copyright ownership or authorization under the Copyright Act, 1957 and indemnify Sonh against infringement claims.
1. Copyright Ownership Warranty & Indemnification
Statutory Warranty of Ownership
By uploading any document, PDF, manuscript, or image to Sonh Print, you represent and warrant that you are the sole author and copyright owner, or hold verified written permission/license to print and duplicate the work under the Copyright Act, 1957.
Indemnification: You agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sonh, its owners, and technicians from any third-party claims, legal fees, or damages resulting from intellectual property infringement or unauthorized printing of your uploaded materials.
2. Prohibited Content & Zero Tolerance
Strictly Forbidden Uploads
- Classified official government secrets, restricted military orders, defense maps (Official Secrets Act, 1923).
- Counterfeit currency, forged court fee stamps, fake academic degrees, or fraudulent government ID cards.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or explicit obscenity (triggering immediate police reporting).
- Defamatory, libelous, or seditious literature promoting communal disharmony or violence.
- Viruses, trojans, ransomware, or malicious script files.
3. Automated Retention & Daily Nightly Purge at 2:00 AM
Sonh Print respects customer confidentiality and storage minimization under the DPDP Act 2023:
Files are tagged with an expiration timestamp (retention_expires_at). A nightly background cron job at 2:00 AM permanently purges expired documents from our cloud storage buckets.
Customer reprints are authorized strictly for the original authenticated account while the file remains active and unexpired. Once purged at 2:00 AM, documents cannot be recovered.
4. Non-Returnable Custom Order Policy & Manufacturing Defects
Because print jobs are custom-manufactured to individual digital specifications, printed documents are strictly non-returnable for customer-side spelling mistakes, typos, low image resolution, or margin errors.
Verified Manufacturing Defect Remedy
If a document exhibits illegible printing, low toner fading, pages missing due to spooling failure, or machine tears in binding, Sonh will provide an immediate free reprint or refund upon photographic verification submitted within 24 hours of receipt.
